On Tuesday 28th November we are celebrating #GivingTuesday – a global day of giving where the world is encouraged to give back to their favourite charities.
We are encouraging our supporters to get involved by helping us raise funds and using their voice to spread the word of their favourite charities.
We are encouraging our supporters to get involved in a variety of ways:
- Volunteer at our station collections on Tuesday 28th November at Shoreditch High Street Station 8-10am or 4.30-6.30pm (email foundation@bigissue.com if you are available!)
- Donate a tweet or Facebook post to add to our social media flash mob via Thunderclap: http://thndr.me/1HEmLj

#GivingTuesday harnesses the potential of social media and the generosity of people around the world to bring about real change. As a global movement, #GivingTuesday unites countries around the world by sharing our capacity to care for and empower one another. In 2016, over £130m was raised over 98 countries to help support charities around the globe.
