Were you one of the lucky ones to get a place in the London Marathon ballot? Or are you left feeling disappointed this time around? Either way we would love for you to join #TeamTBIF!
We still have a handful of charity places available so if you’re looking for a spot in one of the world’s most iconic running events and feel passionately about ending poverty and exclusion for Big Issue vendors then we’d love to hear from you.
The registration fee for a charity place is £50 and we ask that you raise a minimum sponsorship of £1,900 to support Big Issue vendors. In return for all your hard work we’ll be there to shower you with training tips and fundraising ideas to make your marathon journey as memorable and enjoyable as possible. We’ll also send you an official Big Issue Foundation running vest which you can wear with pride, knowing that your fundraising will be making a big impact to the people that need it most.
If you beat the odds and bagged yourself a place in the ballot, then congratulations! Now why not use your place for the power of good and run for The Big Issue Foundation? There is no registration fee or sponsorship target if you’ve got your own place, we just ask that you raise what you can, and we’ll be there to support you all the way to the finish line.
‘It has been an amazing but humbling experience, a year I will never forget supporting a charity I will not be forgetting.’ Cliffe, London Marathon 2019 runner.
As part of our team you can run in the knowledge that every mile you complete, you’ll be helping to raise vital funds and awareness for Big Issue vendors, by providing access to housing, health services, training, education, and employment.
