In the 2020 Impact Report, we launched our new mission statement:

Building a world that works for everyone. Challenging, innovating and creating self-help and sustainable business solutions, that dismantle poverty now and for future generations. 

Now we are working towards this mission statement and would like to share this journey with you through our brand new ‘Insight Series’.

Launch event:

28th January – The Big Issue Invest team shared an overview of BII’s work and heard from inspiring investees, YMCA Cornwall and Collage Arts, about their own challenges and successes.

Upcoming events:

  • 25th March – Impact, Diversity & Inequality

Learn more about our new DEI tools to measure impact and diversity in your organisation and find out how we are supporting social enterprises to achieve their diversity aims. Register here

  • 27th May – Investor Engagement Series (Investors Only)
  • 29th July – Social Enterprises and Investees
  • 30th September – Learning from 15 years of investment and support
  • 28th October – FM – AGM (Current Investors)

Support someone in your own community

With our online vendor map, you can support a local vendor by supplementing their income with a subscription to Big Issue. For every annual subscription sold via a vendor, a vendor receives £50.
