Here is every single entry from our 2018 Christmas kids cover competition

Each of the 1,100-plus entries from right across Britain this year has been lovingly crafted, with colouring pens and glitter and pencils and bits of felt and boundless, unquenchable imagination and enthusiasm

We asked, and you delivered. We’ve been absolutely blown away by all the entries we had this year to our annual kids Christmas cover competition. In the end we received more than 1,100 entries from under-13s up and down Britain. We congratulate Lucy Norris, our overall winner, for a compelling entry that can be seen on the cover of this week’s The Big Issue. But we also want to take the time to thank every single person who entered.

To parents, grandparents, teachers, carers, aunts, uncles and anybody else who spent time sticking, helping and stuffing envelopes and sending emails, we thank you and we salute you. You are part of The Big Issue, part of what we do and why we do it.

You are helping Big Issue vendors out on the street make a living and help them lift themselves up as they work their way out of their perilous situation. You help make Christmas.

Change a vendor's life this Christmas

This Christmas, 3.8 million people across the UK will be facing extreme poverty. Thousands of those struggling will turn to selling the Big Issue as a vital source of income - they need your support to earn and lift themselves out of poverty.
