Her Maj gets her Big Issue vendor badge – in street art!

The Queen has been immortalised as a vendor – even ditching her beloved corgis for Street Cat Bob – on the wall of a London café

Queen Big Issue

We’ve always known the iconic red Big Issue tabard is fit for a queen – now there’s proof, as Her Majesty has been spotted dressed as a vendor in satirical street art.

The monarch was spotted daubed on the side of the Life Food Café in Fitzrovia, London, this morning – less than two miles from the royals’ gaff, Buckingham Palace.

Much-changed from her usual royal attire – though keeping on her crown – the Queen even swapped her beloved pet corgis for Street Cat Bob, who appears to have given owner James Bowen the cold shoulder to join HRH on the streets.

Street artist Loretto is believed to be behind the Banksy-esque portrait and has given Liz esteemed company. Portrayals of Theresa May having a ‘Marilyn Monroe’ moment and Jeremy Corbyn as St Francis of Assisi with EU stars for a crown of thorns also featuring in the artworks.

Unsurprisingly, Loretto has also targeted Donald Trump with the US President depicted in the middle of the March of Progress illustration as well as revealing a concealed swastika in a portrait elsewhere in London.

This is not the first time the mysterious graffiti artist has set their sights on the Queen – she’s previously been painted by Loretto showing thigh-high stockings and smoking a cigarette as well as hitching up her dress to reveal a red anarchy sign tattoo on a Camden café.
