It is people in our communities who are most affected by the cost of living crisis. The Big Issue's Survival Guide is here to tell your stories, fight for change and provide hope

We know the cost of living crisis continues to have a dangerous impact on the lives of people across the country as millions face poverty. So we’re doing something about it. The Big Issue’s cost of living newsletter Survival Guide explores the human stories at the heart of the crisis.

We tell the untold stories of people struggling to survive, those with nothing left to sacrifice after two years of the crisis. We cannot shy away from these stories because they are sad or difficult to read. Their voices need to be heard, because it is only through listening to them that we can fight for change.

We bring you the latest news, money-saving tips, uplifting stories showing the strength of our communities and ways to take action on the issues you care about.

We speak to the incredible frontline workers who are offering hope and giving a lifeline to the most vulnerable, whose essential work so often goes unrecognised.

And we will keep holding the government to account on the biggest issues of our time until we get change.

It’s not down to individuals to fix the economy, but neither are we powerless. Survival Guide newsletter isn’t going to fix everything – but we hope to remind people that change is possible. We can tackle this together. And we’ll bring a smile to your face as we do it.

If you have a story to share, we want to listen. Get in touch at isabella.mcrae@bigissue.com or share your story here.
